Formerly known as Magoos, it's still hard for regulars to call it by its proper name. After a stressful week at school, students come for "Thirsty Thursdays," gathering en masse to cheer on UH sports, vent about inflexible professors and dive into the off-campus social scene that makes the drudgery of homework tolerable. The sushi and other food are affordable and go down well with the cheap pitchers of beer. And the best part? If you live anywhere near campus, you can walk home.
