Although it's not as popular now as it was several years ago, Zanzabar, the most famous nightclub in Waikiki, is still known internationally. Located in the middle of the Waikiki Trade Center, you’ll always find a mix of locals and tourists, turned out in their best and ready to boogie. More than $6 million was spent on Zanzabar, and it shows in the decor and the sound. On some nights, the cover can be pricey. Better get on the online VIP list or have dinner at Matteo’s Italian Restaurant. They’re owned by the same people, and the maitre'd can give out tickets. And just to note: Zanzabar does enforce its dress code.
