An overview

J.J. Dolan's is a no-frills place that's well represented by its slogan: "An Irish pub with New York pizza from two guys in Chinatown." We could talk about the beautiful wood accents of the place, or the flatscreen TVs showing the game, or the friendly, quirky staff who treat you like family, and these are all reasons people go. But underlying everything is... you guessed it... pizza and beer.

Co-owners Jay Niebuhr and Danny Dolan are both bar scene veterans; Niebuhr owned Luigi’s Pizza in Wahiawa and made New York-style pizza for Murphy's Bar & Grill, and Dolan was manager of Anna Bannana's and O'Toole's.
