First look: Gravy @ the Hyatt

A new Monkey Bar?

We stopped by Ciao Mein at the Hyatt Regency Waikiki last Saturday night to check out Gravy, a new party that reincarnates the old Monkey Bar. Gravy, which takes place every third Saturday, is an indoor-outdoor bash created by promoters Tantriq, Architechs, Racesauce and Double-O-Spot. Although the party wasn't as packed as we thought it would be, it brought out an attractive local crowd who took advantage of free drinks and the spacious hotel setting.
