The Asian-inspired decor of Ciao Mein reminds us of E & O Trading Company, which also shifts from an upscale restaurant to a nightclub on the weekend.

All of the tables and chairs in the main room of Ciao Mein, an upscale Chinese-Italian eatery, are cleared away for Gravy, leaving an ample-sized, carpeted space that's transformed into a dance floor and bar.

We should note that nothing from Ciao Mein's menu is available for clubbers, which is unfortunate. It would be nice to sit somewhere and nibble on pupu. Actually, one of the main drawbacks of this party is that there are very few places — either indoors or around the pool — to sit and lounge, except in the ouside smoking area.
