First look: Oceans 808

The look

The main thing to note about the new Oceans is the decor. It's a fantastic display of dramatic lighting and water to reflect the ocean theme. The interior gives the feeling of being in a large aquarium, with a clear wall of water as a centerpiece. The wall, which changes colors and has real water bubbling through it, is mesmerizing to look at. The flashy lasers on the dance floor are equally eye-catching, rivaling the feel of a mega-club like Level 4. 

The only thing that threw us were the flatscreens, located above the crowd and above eye level. They were showing some strange mix of scenic Hawaii footage that didn't match the pace of the rest of the club.
