There's a stigma that shadows any club that's been closed and reopened, and it's one of the main things people are buzzing about with the reopening of Restaurant Row's famous (or infamous) Oceans club. Is the new Oceans 808 the same as the old Ocean club that shut down over a year ago? Is the crowd the same? The look?
After some delays due to the economy, the newly remodeled Oceans officially opened last weekend to enormous crowds. On both Friday and Saturday nights, the 7,500-square-foot club was jammed with partygoers, with lines forming outside like the old days. We checked out the new digs and found some beautiful improvements.
