There are many creative new improvements on the menu, and these are due to the talent and innovation of Executive Chef Aaron Fukuda (pictured here), formerly the Executive Chef at Sam Choy's Diamond Head. "We wanted to focus more on the food this time," co-owner Brian Yoshida said. "But we want to stay affordable too. That's what we've been known for."
Prices for pupu and entrees range from about $5 to $14. Part of Chef Fukuda's specialty is pairing food and wine, so expect to see more of that in the future. The most notable additions to the menu are the fish dishes. We tried several, and found a few new favorites.
