Locals know when they want live Island and reggae sounds, Tropics Cafe is the place to hit, especially on Wednesdays. Happy hour gets jammed on the weekdays, with specials like $4 top-shelf liquors on Wednesdays, $3 martinis on Mondays and $10 Heineken pitchers on Thursdays. They've also got a pool table that's well used. Although it's right off Ward, it's a little hard to spot. But parking's not a problem.
