First look: Dokyo

The vibe

You don't often see upscale clubs like this outside of Waikiki, and that's likely what promoters are banking on. Although there hasn't been much hype surrounding Dokyo's opening, the club was packed.

But it was hardly a rowdy crowd. The sophisticated decor and setting - complete with soaring ceilings - probably kept partygoers polite. This is a place to come when you're going to sip beverages, not chug them down.
