First look: Pink Tiki

Can a tourist joint turn into a local hangout?

Pink Tiki, Tiki's Grill & Bar's new Friday club night, features DJs, dancing and drink specials all night. Those who wear pink (gals or guys) pay only $2.50 to get in. (The normal cover is $5.) And if you order the signature drink, "The Pink Tiki," a dollar of the $7 price goes toward fighting breast cancer.

We dropped by to find out if a tourist joint in the middle of Waikiki could turn itself into a cool night spot.
