Party pics: Ong King's Final First Friday

Ong King Arts Center in Chinatown held a closing party on First Friday that packed the house with fans old and new. The night was a medley of art by Dal and Luc Beauchamp, dance by the girls from Shakti Dance Movement and the Hawaii Fire Artists, spoken word and poetry by Bridget Gray, Kealoha, owner See and special guest Ed Mabrey, and music by Breath of Fire, Quadraphonix and whoever felt inspired to take the mic. Although tinged with sadness, the night was mostly a celebration of Ong King as a haven for the arts.
