Friday's party at the newly remodeled RumFire was the official album release party of new R&B artist Tony Williams. (He's Kanye West's cousin and also on Kanye's record label, G.O.O.D. Music). Kanye himself, who a lot of people hoped to see, didn't show up. And Williams' performance wasn't exactly memorable.

But the crowd of local clubbers, tourists and models made the most of the party, which featured a fashion show by various designers, including Maui-based Stizar Productions. There were also DJ sets by Kidd Continental and a performance by R&B girl group Rich Girl. Part of the proceeds went to the African American Diversity Cultural Center of Hawaii.
