Dear readers, Meagan needs a hangout

PLAY. EAT. REPEAT. READER Meagan e-mailed me this morning with a query, and I figured that I'd ask you, dear readers, for help in solving her bar issues. She needs a place to hang out (see her specifications below), and since you guys hang out all over the island, there's really no better source than you.

Here's what she said:

"... I have a question you might be able to answer or address in your blog. My friends and I usually hang out at Varsity (used to be Magoo's) on Friday nights. But they have changed ownership and it's really gone in a different direction. Most of us live on the the leeward side of the island, can you suggest a bar or club closer to our side? If not, can you suggest a bar with a 20's crowd, some bar food, a little music, but where you could still have a conversation? I'd love to hear any of your ideas."
