One of the best museums on Oahu is most definitely the Hawaii State Art Museum. Here you'll find an exceptional collection of locally produced art in a beautiful and historic setting. The Museum participates in First Friday festivities, often with live performances, in a program called Live on the Lawn. They also offer "Art Lunch," a lecture series in the cafe on the last Tuesday of every month.
