Here's what's happening

The Vans Triple Crown of Surfing kicks off the winter surf season on Thursday, Nov. 12, with the Reef Hawaiian Pro 2009 in Haleiwa. Considered a surfer's ultimate test of skill and second only in prestige to the world title, the pro surfing series runs through Dec. 20, with events for men and women surfers on the North Shore of Oahu and at Honolua Bay on Maui.

This season, in addition to surfing, there will be a number of parties and gatherings with art and music. Stay tuned for all the information.
