Much to the delight of loyal followers, Sing Cheong Yuan (formerly Shung Chong Yuein) reopened in its old space, selling the familiar candied fruits and vegetables that are given with good luck blessings for the new year.

During Chinese New Year, the store has to create two assembly lines to dole out the popular candies, making a very efficient way to ring up all the goodies you want and move the crowd along.
