Party pics: Mardi Gras Street Festival

From a Samba parade, to food booths by Indigo, Brassiere du Vin, Perossier's Creole Catering, Murphy's Bar & Grill, Soul de Cuba, to three stages of live music and entertainment to a costume contest, the annual Mardi Gras Carnaval hit the streets hard in a riot of feathers, beads, glitter and festivities. It only rained briefly on Tuesday night, ensuring a good crowd, as lots of partygoers took to the streets and nightclubs of Chinatown.
