Located across from Hawaii Theatre, Laughtrack Theater is Honolulu’s first theater space dedicated exclusively to performing and teaching improvisation comedy. Laughtrack Theater is co-owned and operated by Kim Potter and Shannon Winpenny, a graduate of such famed improvisational theaters as Second City and iO (formerly Improv Olympic). Winpenny is also currently an instructor for the FISW Training Center. Workshops (on-going) and shows are held regularly every Friday and Saturday night at 8 p.m. and 10 p.m., and occasionally Laughtrack will host other theatre and concert events in their space.
