I recently returned from Italy...going thru withdrawals..missing the great breads. Hawaii needed FB so badly. I am so so so happy we have FB and I will buy all of my breads from FB from now on. I just shared the FB articles on facebook and emailed all of my friends.

Hello, First of all, congratulations for the site - great job. Now, I am trying to find a picture of a guy whose custom was an Egyptian Pharaoh - he was in Kalakaua and I think at Sr. Frog afterwards. He had an amazing abs and really great body. I need some pictures of him - we are trying to reach him to offer him some work as model. Does anybody have a picture of this person? Thank you and again, congratulations.

My wife and I ordered the Rainbow Roll and Caterpillar roll. The sushi was above average, and the waitress was quick and always asked if we needed anything, and my water glass was always full. My complaints: 1. The food took forever to come. They provided complimentary edamame (soy beans) because of the wait. A couple came in after us and ordered a few minutes after us. After waiting so long they left, and when they spoke to the waitress she said they didn't even start on their dish. 2. Highly overpriced - about $30 for our two rolls. Even though the food was of good qualilty, the wait was just too long and took away from the whole experience. The price was just salt on an open wound. I never write reviews, and for me to actually take the time and write this one, something must be wrong with this place. We went in the afternoon so I can't really speak about the ambience, but I can tell you there was a LOUD band playing next door playing either rock or jazz. Whichever it was, I didn't like it. How many people were in the restaurant. There was a group of six who were seated inside, my wife and I, and our friends (family of five). For the amount we paid I expected a lot more. I've been to Genki Sushi, Kuru Kuru, Gyotaku, Kobe, and Sushi Sasabune, this place had the cost of Sushi Sasabune the quality of Kobe, but an experience like Genki.

My first experience was a taste of their Wailua blend at the Alternative Taste festival. It was hot out, I was sticky and sweaty from dancing, yet I couldn't stay away from that delicious scent that was coming from their coffee stand. After one hot taste, I took home a bag that very night. (And it was a long night, so I kept sticking my head in my purse throughout taking long drags of coffee aroma. true story.) THEN I went to the shop one morning and tried their iced coffee, which Charles was preparing with great care. I can honestly say the best coffee I've had outside of grandma's kitchen. Crisp taste, not muddy or been-sitting-too-long bitter. I was surprised at just how good it was black - I'm a heavy cream-and-sugar girl. The guys truly care about what they're doing and that makes all the difference. Highly recommend, no doubt.

I came across this cafe one morning while riding through Fort Street Mall on my bike and boy oh boy what a great day that was. The two guys running the place were extremely friendly and knowledgeable about their coffee. You can tell they take pride in their coffee and service by the way they interact with the customers. Their expresso is to die for. Now that I'm a regular there I've been trying their new Waialua coffee and its the bomb! Overall a great little cafe with great coffee!

Well, All I gotta say is ---- Dirty!! Clean the damn cafe a little better please!!!!!!!!! Also, these guys raised their prices. This would be somewhat ok but the fact is they have bad coffee. The girl pulled me an espresso and it came out in about 5 to 10 seconds and it was blonde color. Now, I know coffee and I know that ya gotta aim for at least 25 seconds and have it come out reddish brown (crema gots to be great). I followed with a Latte because I had to have something that was decent....over steamed milk! GREAT! Didn't finish it. Another point please. Bigger size is not always better. I know people in Hawaii might love QUANTITY a little more than QUALITY but come on. Concentrate on the QUALITY first please.... people don't mind if it's a little smaller but its gotta be really good! Lastly, If you are going to have that snobish seattle Barista attitude, at least have some great Barista skills too. Gees!!!!

Went in and had a Macchiatto in a demitasse. Knocked my socks off!!!! The guy on the espresso machine (older guy), knew what he was doing! Ground the espresso for every shot and was very meticulous on making the drinks. All this while he talked and chatted with the customers. Although there was a line out the door, there wasn't much of a wait. Definitely the best coffee I have had in Hawaii!!

You guys were so stuffed you could hardly eat and you expect to render a fair judgment? I don't think so.

i'm disappointed you didn't include magoo's (on King St., near the McCully McDonalds) and sumo's (near the airport).

Fendu Boulangerie Bakery should've been on that pizza list. I'm not too sure about the cheese pizza, but the mushroom pizza rocks!

If you love great food...this is the place. If you love to watch the games...this is the place. If you want to dance your butt off all night...this is the place!!! What bar doesn't have fights and altercations...Beer and people really don't mix but we do it anyways right?! I love that they have strict policies and I think most bars should do the same. The doorman even carded me and Im 27! But I was impressed on how well these so called "Goriila" dorormen work. They really don't take crap from anybody and I feel safer knowing that if something does "break out" these "Gorillas" are ready for it. The people are friendly and even when my brother had lost his wallet a man found it in the bathroom and gave it to the doorman. There are always going to have negative feedbacks but you tend to realize later on that only the good feedbacks get affected..the bad feedbacks are only good for one thing...giving fuel. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion and my opinion on the gentleman that had a bad experience is...you were one of the them that got kicked out, started something or got too drunk. Because when we're there and something bad happens,I garuntee you its one of these three things that make people hate Chez. Im all for Chez and I'll be seeing yall soon! Thanks!
