These guys have been growing on me for the past several years. Saw them open for the Chili Peppers back in '02-'03 and the show was horrible. I think part of it had to do with a bad audio mix, because a year or so later when I heard a song that I really liked on XM it was them. The eight "Octahedron" songs have incendiary guitar parts and great tempo changes that keep the songs interesting from second to second. Yeah, it is slower than their previous works, but no less interesting in my opinion.
