Higher Ground Coffee and Music Cafe

A coffee shop that becomes a hip-hop venue on the North Shore is like a hippie’s wet dream, but the music is worth the trip. Hawaii hip-hop mainstay Tempo Valley and other well-known local bands perform here regularly.  It's also worth mentioning that they sell very cheap coffee and the environment is warmer than your Starbucks. Casual clothing and a welcoming attitude creates a more relaxed atmosphere than at most clubs.
