Summer nights = bon dances = awesome bon dance grinds! We’re not talking about the standard barbecue sticks, saimin and shave ice you can get everywhere. We’re talking the kind of stuff your aunties and uncles threw together for the biggest, bestest potluck picnics you had growing up, the kind where you looked forward to the food as much as the fun.
So get your scrip, people, the season is short. Country dances started already, but the town season launches tonight and continues through early September. As a service to foodies, Metromix brings you this roundup of the season’s best bon dance eats.
