Natto (with cheese and curry)

When you ferment soy beans to create natto, they end up with a slimy film that creates airy threads when you try to pull them apart. When you simply look at a photo, natto looks harmless enough; the smell and taste, however, is purely pungent. True connoisseurs eat it with hot rice and maybe an egg; we found some adventurous runners eating natto with shredded cheese and curry.
