When we heard that Guy Fieri of the Food Network’s "Diners, Drive-ins and Dives" was coming to Hawaii to check out some local eats, we also learned that one of the places on his list was Murphy’s Bar & Grill.

Nothing against Murphy’s, but the general consensus among us is that the Merchant Street hangout is neither a diner, drive-in or dive. This prompted us to put together our own list of local diners, drive-ins and dives that we love.

First up is one of the places Guy did visit: Rainbow Drive-In.
