This is one of the most popular vegetarian dishes on the menu. The dal is a spicy lentil stew full of texture, and the saag aloo is a creamy, slow-simmered spinach curry with potatoes. The boiled basmati rice is a traditional side to this dish, but we prefer substituting it with the Nepali-style mashed potatoes, which are rich in spices that complement the dal and saag aloo.
