Kaimuki Grill is a great place to chillax and fill up before heading out on a big night. There are just 10 to 12 tables, and in the early evening, you’ll find more families and sports fans taking in the games on three of the TV screens. As the evening goes on, karaoke buffs fill up the place. Singing starts at 9 p.m. every night and can go as late as 2 a.m., depending on the crowd.
The ambience is so casual, you can go in your gym clothes (Christa!) and blend in. The waitresses are also so laid-back you’ll feel like you’re eating at your auntie’s house rather than at a restaurant.
