First taste: Kaimuki Grill

The menu

Kaimuki Grill offers lots of local favorites, with prices ranging from $4 for shoyu style hotdogs to $13 for a teriyaki shortribs entree ($13). There are daily specials, and lunch bentos are also available on weekdays, with such dishes as garlic chicken, fried chicken and pork chops that start at $2.50. The menu is pretty basic, just entrees and pupu.

To give it more of a sports bar feel, Momotarou's old sushi bar has been replaced with a regular bar that serves beer (in bottles) and wine.
