Stone pot rice lunch set
Can you believe this is one lunch? We’re used to paying $15.95 for stone pot rice and a meat side at another Korean eatery. At Choi’s Garden Restaurant, the same price gets you these plus a bubbling pot of spicy stew and eight banchan condiments on the side.
Choi’s kalbi is to die for — eat it with sticky rice chock full of beans and pumpkin. At the end of the meal, pour hot tea into the still-sizzling rice pot and let it melt the crispy grains into a hearty gruel. Heavy eaters will devour all and fall into a stupor. Light eaters will devour half, polish off the leftovers at dinner — and then fall into a stupor.
