Nori-chos at Tokkuri-Tei
Credit:Martha Cheng
Tokkuri-Tei's menu is full of puns and jokes. One of our favorite (and tastiest) puns: the Nori-chos ($7.50). Strips of nori are tempura-battered and fried, topped with diced tomatoes, avocados, tobiko and melted cheese, then drizzled with a teriyaki-like sauce. This unexpected crispy, salty, sweet appetizer is addiction personified.
