Sul-Lung Tang

The preferred way for Koreans to tame a hangover is indulging in a bowl of Sul-Lang Tang, a hearty boiled bone broth soup with tripe, clear noodles, tendon, beef slices and green onions. The soup comes bland, so you add as much salt (or spice) as you like. Eat it with rice, and It's warm, soothing and easy on the stomach.
We like the Sul-Lang Tang at Sorabol, mostly because we can get it any time of the day (or night), since they're open 24 hours. Between 8 a.m. and noon, Sorabol's Sul-Lang Tang, accompanied by panchan, including two types of kim chee, goes for $7.50. (Normally, it's $8.99).
