An overlooked ethnic eating hub

Special to Metromix
One of Oahu's most-overlooked restaurant hubs has to be Pearl Kai Shopping Center in Aiea. Often overshadowed by the larger Pearlridge Center across the street, Pearl Kai is home to some of the city's most ethnically diverse eats, with Italian, Vietnamese, Chinese, Japanese and local eateries all represented. Come see what we tasted on this around-the-world, strip-mall-eating fest.
This is the first of a series of eating adventures Metromix will take part in at Hawaii's food-centric strip malls.
