First taste: The Little Oven

Ten years ago, Joyce Harada left her work as a paralegal to pursue her passion for the science and art of baking. She had gone to Europe and was enamored with the textures, aromas and flavors of the breads and pastries there, and was determined to re-create the tastes she had experienced.
After attending from Kapiolani Community College’s Culinary Arts program and after some experimentation, she opened The Little Oven on King Street a couple of years ago. Her little avocado green oven is not the only thing that’s small; the space is quite cozy. Literally, if you're driving down South King too fast, you’ll miss it. It’s on the right side of the street next to the Mobi store. If you hit Kaheka Street, you’ve gone too far.
Come see what we tasted. Believe us... this is one gallery that'll leave you craving sweets!
