Banana Dog

Once in a while, the original KC Original Waffle Dogs are served. Since we’re regulars, we got the idea to substitute the hot dog with a banana, which was served with maple syrup. Then we took it up a notch and had the banana dog sprinkled with cinnamon sugar… and served ala mode.

The waffle dogs and banana dogs are wildly popular, so we asked Joyce why she doesn’t feature it more often. "The waffle dog maker just takes so much room," she explained, waving to her tiny kitchen.
