Sure, the small diner on Coral Street may offer everything from rabbit-and-veal sausage to a duck-and-foie-gras combination that still baffles my senses. But the classic Chicago-style dog ($4.75) — a Vienna all-beef hot dog complete with mustard, chopped onions, neon-green sweet pickle relish, a dill pickle spear, pickled peppers and a dash of celery salt — is the best around.
