Metromix today introduces its new series, My Top 10, where we ask local foodies and other people-in-the-know to tell us and show us (with their own pics) about their favorites restaurants around town, and why they love them.

We're kicking off the series with a Top 10 gallery by Ed Morita of Aiea, also known as NctrnlBst on Twitter. He's a pastry chef with a culinary degree, and he was part of a previous Metromix tasting at Gazen. But more importantly, he just loves food — any food — and is always eager to try new dishes and places. "I consider myself a foodie, not a food snob," he said. "A foodie will appreciate any food, as long as its good food, while a food snob won't eat something like a hot dog because they don't think hot dogs are good food. My motto is I'm always willing to try."
