Overall assessment
October 9, 2009
Nothing about this place reminds us of a food court. We taste pure meat, and corn, and beans, for the most part, not a muddle of sour cream, guacamole, standard hot sauce and plastic orange cheese. And once we start embracing the fresh salsas, some of the dishes leap off the plate.
Here are some final tips:
• Serg’s is BYOB. We kick ourselves for never remembering, because we always end up craving an ice-cold Corona. We hear some regulars bring their own wine.
*
• If you order tacos, bring hand wipes.
• Prowl around for street parking if both lots are full. It’s worth it.
