Ramiro's tacos

A taco goes for $3.25, and it's filled with meat, beans and rice, then folded into a corn tortilla. We chose to have it California-style, meaning just the meat and salsa in two corn tortillas.
The chicharones — fatty, crispy pork topped with fresh tomato salsa and tomatillo salsa — were crispy and succulent, but rather lean, all things considered. We also tried the carne asada, grilled marinated steak cut into bite-size pieces and topped with fresh diced onions, tomatillo salsa and cilantro. The steak was soft and would have gone down well with a cold beer. Too bad we ate at 10:30 a.m.
