Tamura's Fine Wine & Liquors
The tiny and oddly configured parking lot is the single worst thing about Tamura's. But if you nab a spot, this is the perfect place to pick up pupu and beverages before a party. Start at the poke bar in the back. Prices are a little higher than at other places around town, but that's because they only use fresh ahi. The shoyu poke is good, but if you can stand the heat, the wasabi poke is the best. Tamura's also has arguably the best wine offerings in town, from the cheapo stuff to European bottles that cost a couple hundred dollars. Serious aficionados are taken into the back room, where the really primo booze is stocked.
