Himalayan Kitchen's extensive menu has a great mix of dishes – some that excite and some that soothe. As our server described to us, the Nepali dishes tend to be more subtle in spice, so if you prefer more aggressive fare, turn to the Indian dishes and make sure to request your food spicy. While the sign on the lanai proclaims "Authentic Nepali and Indian Cuisine," a lot of the food incorporates a blend of cultures. But authentic or not, it's a friendly little restaurant that the neighborhood seems to be welcoming by packing the dining room night after night.
