Kaimuki Grill
Kaimuki Grill is a great place to chillax and fill up before heading out to a big Saturday night without breaking the bank. There are just 10 to 12 tables, and in the early evening you’ll find more families or sports fans taking in the games on three of the TV screens. As the evening goes on, you might find karaoke buffs filling the place — singing starts at 9 p.m. every night and can go as late as 2 a.m. depending on the crowd. For comforting, cheap eats, this is definitely on our list for hanging out, especially with good friends. The menu itself doesn’t offer anything special or unique (other than the kalua pig nachos), but it’s all good, classic local bar food that is hard to beat when you’re hungry.
