Hit or Miss

I like the food there, it's unique. The owners are very accomodating. But, the consistency of the food and the service is a hit or miss. 75% of the time, the service is poor. And there are just certain dishes that I love, but have been disappointed when it's served inconsistent with my experience before. I.E. The charsiu with kimchee flavored onions, I love. But I've gotten it where it's cold and tough. :( A couple of the servers are fantastic where as others don't have common sense to carry with or bring more than one pair of chopsticks for a group of 20 and has to keep going back.

High priced

The service and ambiance here was good, but the food was a bit over-priced for the quality. The pupu platter had great, tasty samples, but not worth the $20. A dining partner claimed that the ramen was a tad too oily, and the yakisoba that I had was definately overcooked. If the restaurant had been busy, some the the food shortcomings might have been overlooked, but we we one of only five groups in there. Great friendly service kind of made up for the lack in food taste and value.
