At last, flying knives have arrived at Ala Moana! The menu is familiar if you've been to another Tanaka of Tokyo - various meats and seafood dramatically prepared by chefs at your table. The Tanaka Sirloin is $26.75, while the 9-ounce Super Size Sirloin is $31. As far as steaks go, Tanaka's is one of the better deals. Just don’t expect the meat to give you a Ruth's Chris buzz or a Morton's high. The bar itself, set apart from the restaurant, is appealingly designed in a kitschy. Hattori Hanzo way, so it's a good option for killiing time while waiting for your table.
