Diego's is a, "Just the tacos, ma’am" kind of joint - a nothing-fancy place where salsa comes in mini plastic containers, the food is filling and reasonable, and the smell of frying masa hangs in the air. The vibe here is definitely laid-back with UH students shuffling in after the beach and grinding at the drive-in style tables.
