Great job guys. Having dined at Gazen, I totally agree with each tasters comments. I would definitely go back and try other Izakaya delights. Wat no sake or beer to compliment each dish?

Yummy! Looks like it was a lot of fun and that you got to make some new friends, including getting to know a virtual tweeter! This haole girl loves Japanese food! Hope the Metromix review gives Gazen Izakaya a boost in popularity.

only $107??! i've hit $74 for only 2 people! i was thinking this was a pretty reasonable izakaya. anyway, it was so delicious meeting everyone, thnku for passing over ur leftovers, we drooled a lot. am going back for the ochazuke--wd make a great meal w/ the ahi katsu, tofu and daikon salad, which i def like.
