Over the last two years, The Little Oven has slowly garnered a following with area residents and people looking for dessert and coffee after the theatre or the movies. Its "come-as-you-are" ambience attracts everything from seniors in the early hours to a hip young crowd with their PDA phones as the night goes on. It's a great place to hang out with friends, but Little Oven is becoming so popular that it may not be possible to linger unless you go on a weeknight. The desserts are so unique, you’ll want to try them all; they’re so light, that you could easily eat two in one sitting — especially if you’re a guy. Many people looking for a full meal often eat dinner at one of the many places nearby, since the neighborhood is full of restaurants, and come here for dessert and coffee afterwards. The fact that The Little Oven doesn’t offer "real food" is a complaint of many first-time patrons, but this is how owner Joyce Harada stays true to her craft.
