  • Chinpei opened on South King Street in 2008. And anyone looking for a good lunchtime deal should check it out. A bowl of ramen, side of fried rice and gyoza goes for a respectable $8.85. It doesn't take long to get through the one-page menu, which includes several types of ramen and gyoza. In just a short time, Chinpei's attracted a following for its gomoku ramen and jaja men noodles with miso and cucumbers. The decor is spare, yet very clean, and the waiters are welcoming and eager to please.
