  • This comfy Kakaako eatery is part of dying breed of old-school diners that serve up quick, inexpensive local plate lunches. Come as early as 5:30 a.m. for eggs, pancakes or sweetbread French toast. For lunch, try one of the daily specials like "Mama's Meatloaf," baked garlic chicken, shoyu pork and even roast turkey with stuffing.
