  • Only in Honolulu can you go to the main shopping mall and be pleasantly overwhelmed with the amount of Japanese eateries in the food court. Donburiya Dondon is unique in that it has a small dining area to the side a little oasis apart from the beehive that is the Makai Market Food Court. In what seems to be an emerging trend, there are Japanese dishes with Korean and local influences. The locomoco don, bibimbap udon and the ever-popular katsu and noodle dishes are worth a try.
