  • Gyotaku on King Street is known for its grab-and-run bento business by day, offering reasonably priced combo plates including butterfish, tempura, saba and teri beef. And if you go right at 1:30 p.m., everything left is half-price. But it's in the dining room where the restaurant shows its character and playful sense of humor. If you want sushi, how about a Fuzzy Wuzzy Roll or Pele Lava Roll? Or try a Poke Don - sort of like donburi, except with ahi poke instead of the more traditional egg and chicken. There's also the trademark appetizer, Pokechose, a Japanese form of nachos with won ton strips, furikake, sprouts, avocado and seafood scattered on a platter.

Eh. I don’t feel strongly about it either way. I don’t hate it or love it, I wouldn’t recommend it or dismiss it, it just is.
